Federal Aviation Administration Automated Flight Service Station - Bldg. 508
Greenwood Leflore Airport is home to the FAA's Automated Flight Service Station for the state of Mississippi. The facility operates 24/7 and is conveniently located mid ramp. Greenwood Radio provides Airport Advisory services and control of runway and approach lights when Greenwood Air Traffic Control Tower is closed.

 


Cottonbelt Aviation - Telephone 662-455-4111 - Bldg. 528
Cottonbelt Aviation is a full-service FBO offering hangar space and tie-downs. They operate from 07:00 till 19:00 weekdays and 08:00 till 19:00 on weekends. They are on call 24 hours and call outs can be arranged by contacting Greenwood Radio. Air BP Jet A and 100LL products are available and Cottonbelt provides a courtesy vehicle to customers. Vending machines are available and catering services provided with advance notification. Cottonbelt monitors tower and ground and may be contacted by Unicom on 122.95. A free WSI computer is also available. Cottonbelt is located midway on south ramp.

Greewood Aviation is a full-service FBO offering hangar space and tie-downs. They operate from 07:00 till 19:00 weekdays and 08:00 till 19:00 on weekends. Vending machines are available and catering services provided with advance notification. Greenwood Aviation monitors tower and ground and may be contacted by Unicom on 122.95. A free WSI computer is also available. Greenwood Aviation is located on the south end of the south ramp.

MidsouthJet is an airframe and engine maintenance and overhaul facility, offering top quality services. They operate from 08:00 till 17:00 weekdays. They are primarily geared to serve the private and corporate aviation sector and perform maintenance on most King Air models as well as jets such as Cessna's Citation line. Midsouth is located midway on the south ramp.

The Memphis Group is one of the world's largest heavy aircraft parts companies. They have offices worldwide and provide spares support and inventory management services to many of the world's major passenger and freight airlines. They currently support aircraft from Boeing, Airbus, McDonnell Douglas, Lockheed and Fokker. Their corporate offices are located in Memphis, Tennessee and GWO is their only airport site. The operate from 08:00 till 17:00 weekdays. They operate an aircraft disassembly and storage facility here and occupy most of the southeast ramp.

Provine Helicopters is one of the largest helicopter operators in the southeast. They maintain eleven Bell JetRangers and are currently negotiating for Bell UH-1's. Provine is primarily engaged in providing services for timber producers and utility companies. When the helicopters are not actively engaged, they are available for charter. Provine is about to construct a new 25,000 sq. ft. facility on the east ramp which will better accommodate their growing business. In addition to the helicopters, Provine operates a Cessna 414 in support of their operations.

Thompson Aviation is an FAA approved repair station for avionics. They operate from 08:00 till 17:00 weekdays and are authorized dealers for Garmin, Honeywell, BFGoodrich, S-Tec, UPS Aviation Technologies and more. Thompson is located midway on the north ramp.

 

Campbell Helicopter is a helicopter maintenance facility which will occupy the buildings presently used by Provine Helicopters. They offer everything from periodic maintenance to complete overhaul and rebuild. Campbell is a family owned business which is headquartered in Louisiana and GWO is their first expansion site.
